Wow, I at first with video title and first minute was thinking seems fair questions by person getting items, but I quickly changed my mind first homeowner says yes wood ok, then when he insists on it being dropped exactly where they want and and driver says il get it as close as I can, owner says wood is wrong and I’m not accepting delivery!! Fair enough if wrong timber sizes! Who knows all good then not! Driver says they will get close as possible I would be very appreciative but that’s not good enough. Driver has more patience then I would have had in this interaction, and yes also driver just gets given what he gets to deliver how would they know what people ordered, so driver did all they could with regards to there job 😊

The second tree is really the problem, you can easily get around the first one. Would be extremely difficult but probably possible. I've Fit some pretty big stuff through some small doors on a forklift before.

I could not deal with telling a man over and over that 16ft boards cannot be put into a 9ft space. The more i live the more i realize that most old people are grown toddlers. They just don’t understand certain things anymore and get pouty when they don’t get what they want.

What if they used a span-set and slung it? They’d have to make a few trips though, or that old man could of purchased some four wheelers and roll the whole stack in.

I used to follow along and buy into the the bs. Now I see you cause most of your issues. In several videos you begin crying about what your not willing to do before arriving. In other videos you're crying before getting out of your truck. Get yourself a freaking damage waiver, and have the customer sign it, so you can start giving customers what they need. It's like you get a thrill by saying no to a delivery request. You fire the curbside delivery shot every chance you get and are either angry at the world or being a jerk for no reason. Your entire job is to deliver it where it is needed. I watched 1 video where you refused to go down a driveway because it was a 1/2 mile and left it on the side of the road ½ mile from the customer's house. And another video Where you didn't want to back your truck up along. Driveway, so you gladly use the machine to cort the material all the way down the driveway. Your videos are cool to watch You're just a crybaby and don't want to help anyone out.

Why build a "drive" way when you can't "drive" on it? Can we not blame the asphalt company?

Is it that hard to extend your forks ? Any operator could have easily stuck that load in the garage safely. You are a problem maker not a problem solver. You are the reason I order from local lumber yards. Way better service than having to deal with with a lazy third party vendor.

That was literally the worst way you could have dropped the material in that driveway. I absolutely hate drivers that have no understanding of construction and labor involved in the process. Home Depot and this carrier are bootleg jokes in the industry. You should make some effort to understand what you are hauling and how it will be handled once it is on the job site. You added a lot of time to that job for the builders who have a real job building things and you just drive around clueless not understanding the industry even on the most basic level. They never have a successful delivery. Never!

You are missing a very lucrative opportunity. Go to a lawyer and have him draw up a damage liability waiver customers can sign and charge a reasonable amount to deliver it where those PITA customers request it to be delivered after they sign the waiver covering damage to their property and the delivered goods. Most people would shell out at least $100 for convenient placement....extra cash for you, customers are extra happy, it's a win/win. I delivered furniture for years and customers used to bribe us all the time to bring it to specific PITA spots like attics, basements, bedrooms, etc, etc. My partner and i made a TON of money and all they had to do was sign a damage waiver.

I do the exact same job for about a decade now. I've learned that you can describe the problem to people all day long but nothing's going to send it home quite as well as grabbing the forklift and the load and showing them exactly why it's not going to work. Pull up to the Gap and say straight up I can't get it back there any farther and we do not tote lumber, I don't like it throw it back on the truck.
